Your studio selling online this week
No IT person needed, and no switching calendars halfway through a course.
We load your classes
You send us what you already sell (drop-in classes, courses, regular spots, one-to-one sessions) and we load it all with its places, dates and prices.
You connect payments
You link your Stripe or Redsys account. The money from every booking goes into your account, without passing through ours and with no commission per booking.
You put the link where people already find you
On your website, your Instagram profile and your Google listing. Visitors see the real free places and book without having to message you.
Four ways to sell, one calendar
A studio doesn't sell just one thing. Aforo handles all four at once and counts places by the space and what's in it: the tables, the tools and the machines.
The one-off class
The afternoon experience, the gift workshop, the weekend activity. It fills up, it closes and, if someone cancels in time, the place goes back on sale by itself.
Works with what you already use
Aforo takes payments through Stripe or Redsys, writes to your calendar and leaves the data where your team works. And if it needs to talk to another program, there's an open connection for that (API).
Aforo in detailWhat Aforo is, what's inside, what it costs and who it isn't for.
Aforo is Spanish booking and management software for creative studios: pottery, painting, sewing, jewellery, candle-making and other activities taught in classes.
One calendar handles four ways of selling: drop-in class, full course, regular weekly spot and one-to-one session.
It controls places according to the space and the resources available, such as tables, tools or machines.
It also handles class passes that expire, monthly memberships with a receipt and arrears in plain sight, and pre-enrolment that allocates places by seniority.
For pottery studios, it tracks each piece up to the pick-up message.
Payments go into the business's own account through Stripe or Redsys, with 0% commission on all three plans, which cost €29, €49 and €69 a month excluding VAT as of 6 September 2026, with no cap on bookings.
The way in is a twenty-minute demo: there is no free trial and no free plan.
If you sell one-to-one appointments with a single professional, a generic scheduling tool will cost you less. Aforo itself works in Spanish.
Frequently asked questions
If yours isn't here, write to us at hola@aforoapp.com and we'll answer it, and if the question keeps coming up, it ends up here.
Does it work for painting, candles, sewing and other studios?
Yes. Aforo organises classes, courses, bookings and payments for creative studios across many disciplines.
You can sell a drop-in class, a full course, a regular weekly spot or a one-to-one session, and use class passes, memberships and gift vouchers too.
Capacity adjusts to whatever limits each activity: easels in painting, workstations in candle-making, machines in sewing, tables in jewellery or wheels in pottery.
If two activities share a resource, the calendar stops it being sold twice for the same hour.
You set your timetables, places, prices and cancellation rules without bending your studio to fit a generic calendar.
Aforo was born in a pottery studio, which is why it also tracks pieces until they're collected, but that feature is optional.
If your activity doesn't involve pieces, you don't have to use it or even see it day to day.
How is it different from Reservio or a generic booking app?
A scheduling program hands out appointment slots, while a studio sells places in a group.
A generic app knows you're free at 6 pm; it doesn't know that eight people fit in that class because of the space and the tools available, that two students are coming on a pass and that one owes this month's membership.
Aforo does all that out of the box: capacity per resource, class passes with an expiry date and a reminder, memberships with arrears in plain sight and pre-enrolment that allocates a course's places by seniority.
If your studio works with pieces, you can also track each one until it's collected; if not, that module stays out of your routine.
And there's a difference in business model, not just in features: Aforo charges no commission per booking on any plan.
Reservio charges between 1.19% and 3% plus a fixed fee, according to its website as of 21 August 2026.
Can I bring my data over from another system?
Yes, and the migration is included in the setup at no extra cost.
We bring over your customers with their contact details, your catalogue of classes and courses, the passes that are still active with the sessions they have left, the monthly memberships currently running and your booking history.
You don't start from scratch or lose track of who has come to what over the past few years, which is exactly the fear that keeps many people on software that no longer works for them.
We do it ourselves from your current system's export; we don't leave you with a file and a manual.
If your current program doesn't export properly, we look at it with you before you sign up and tell you honestly what can be rescued and what can't.
What if my students aren't comfortable with the internet?
The front desk keeps working exactly as it does now. You can sign anyone up, take their payment, move them to another day or cancel their place from the dashboard, without that person ever touching a screen.
Booking online is an option for those who want it, not an obligation for everyone.
In practice studios end up with both routes side by side: younger people book on their own from their phone at eleven at night, and you sign up those who prefer the personal touch while you chat.
The difference is that both routes now lead to the same place, so there's no longer a notebook saying one thing and a WhatsApp chat saying another.
And anyone who books by phone still gets their confirmation and reminder by email, without you writing them.
How long does it take to get started?
Signing up takes ten minutes and the setup is one session with you.
In that session we configure your catalogue of classes and courses, your timetables, your capacity per resource and your prices.
Your rules too: how much notice you require for cancellations, how many students a session needs to go ahead, and whether you allow make-up classes and on what terms.
We don't hand you an empty dashboard and a link to the help pages.
If you're coming from another system, your data migration happens in that same session, at no extra cost.
From then on you can start selling: your public page goes live and the calendar can go on your website.
What usually takes longest is deciding your own rules, because many have never been written down anywhere and until now were settled case by case.
Do I need to know about computers?
No. If you can send a voice note on WhatsApp, you can use Aforo.
The main screen is today's: the day's classes, how many places are sold out of how many and how much money is still to be collected.
From there almost everything takes one finger. There's nothing to install or maintain: it opens in the browser on your phone, tablet or front-desk computer, and it updates itself.
You don't need to know about websites to put the calendar on yours either, because it comes as a snippet you paste in and that's it.
And if you get stuck, the people who answer are the ones who built it, not a bot that sends you a help article.
We do the setup with you precisely so you don't have to learn anything on your own.
Is there a free trial?
No, and we'd rather say so here than at the end of a form.
Aforo is a paid subscription from day one, with no minimum term: if it doesn't fit, you cancel whichever month you like and take your data with you, exported.
There's no zero-euro plan either. The reason is that a trial alone with an empty program doesn't prove much.
The fifteen days go by without you having loaded your catalogue or your timetables, and you end up deciding on a screen that looks nothing like your studio.
What we do instead takes more work, but on our side: we show it to you in a twenty-minute demo with your classes inside, your prices and your capacities, so you see your own week working and not a sample one.
Then you decide, without us calling you three times that week.
Do you charge a commission per booking?
No, not now, not on any plan and not when your studio grows.
The money from your classes never passes through Aforo: it goes straight to your Stripe or Redsys account and from there to your bank, just as if you took payments on your own website.
What your payment provider does charge is its fee for each card payment, and that is set by them, not by us.
Aforo charges its monthly fee and that's it: €29, €49 or €69 a month depending on the modules you use, plus VAT. This isn't the norm in the sector.
Between 20 and 21 August 2026 we checked, on their own websites, the eleven programs a Spanish studio comes across when searching.
Several take a percentage of every payment: Reservio between 1.19% and 3%, and Zenamu 3% on its free plan.
What about minors and the GDPR?
It's handled out of the box; it's not something you have to set up yourself.
Children's workshops collect the guardian's consent within the booking itself, with the name of the responsible adult, so you don't end up with loose permission slips in a folder or in your inbox.
Your students' data lives on servers in the European Union and belongs to you: you can export it whenever you like, in a format that opens in a spreadsheet.
If someone asks you to delete theirs, it's deleted. You remain the controller of that data and Aforo is your processor.
That's the role the General Data Protection Regulation provides for a supplier like us.
When you're asked to account for it, you can show where everything is, instead of piecing it together from WhatsApp conversations.
Your studio, without the notebook
Twenty minutes with your classes, your prices and your places in front of you. You leave knowing whether Aforo is right for you, and if it isn't, we'll tell you that too.
Write to us and we'll reply within one working day. Please note that Aforo works in Spanish: the dashboard, your booking page and the emails your students receive.
