  • Can I put Aforo's calendar inside my website?

    Yes. The calendar sits inside the website you already have, without replacing it.

    You paste a short piece of code into the page (two lines that come from your dashboard) and it appears there, with your classes and the places that are genuinely still free.

    In WordPress they go inside an HTML block, wherever on the page you want it to show, and any other website builder works the same way as long as you can paste code.

    There's a single allocation of places for all three ways in. That calendar, Aforo's public page and whatever you enter by hand in the dashboard all draw on the same capacity.

    However a class fills up, it stops being offered in all three places at once, so there are no parallel lists and no two people with the same place.

  • Which payment providers does Aforo work with?

    Stripe and Redsys. You link the account you already have, and from then on every paid booking goes straight into it: the money goes from your student to your bank and Aforo doesn't touch it at any point along the way.

    Having Redsys matters, because the payment provider from your usual bank is the one many studios already have set up, and they don't need to open anything new to get started.

    The payment and the place go together, and the booking is confirmed with the payment already in, so you don't end up chasing anyone to pay later.

    You decide how people pay, service by service: a multi-session course in full upfront, a birthday with a deposit and the drop-in class at the front desk.

    The deposit comes off the total automatically, so when you open the morning's list you can see what's still owed by each person without doing the sums by hand.

  • Do the notifications come from my email or from yours?

    From yours, if you like. Aforo can send confirmations and reminders from your own email address, so the person booking gets a message that comes from your studio and not from a program they've never heard of.

    That improves two things: the trust of whoever receives it, and the chances of the message not ending up in the spam folder, because the sender matches the place where they've just booked.

    It's configured only once, when the account is set up, and we do it with you.

    If you'd rather keep it simple, it works just as well sent from our address with your name showing.

    Reminders before each class go out automatically in both cases, with as much notice as you decide, and they considerably reduce absences without you having to write to anyone.

  • Can Aforo notify other programs when something happens?

    Yes. As soon as something happens at your studio (a new booking, a payment, a cancellation, a piece ready), Aforo can automatically notify another program so it does its part.

    There are 46 different events it can send notifications about. With that, tasks can be chained together without anyone writing code.

    For example, sending a message to your phone when someone books, recording the payment in your accounts spreadsheet or adding whoever books to your mailing list.

    If your accountant or someone you trust wants to connect it to another system, they can do that too, because Aforo publishes a standard way of doing it.

    And artificial intelligence assistants can query it directly. None of this is needed to get started.
