Zenamu is cheaper until you start taking payments online.

As of 20 August 2026 it publishes four plans: free, €15, €29 and €66 a month billed annually and excluding VAT, capped at 30, 150, 500 and unlimited orders a month.

On paper it's cheaper than Aforo, which costs €29, €49 or €69 a month, and that's worth saying plainly. The difference is in two places.

The first is commission: the lower plans keep a percentage of every online payment, so the final price depends on how much you take and not just on the fee.

The second is what each one models: Zenamu is designed for yoga, pilates and fitness, with pages for pottery and art.

And it doesn't have the features that only exist if the program was born inside a studio, starting with piece tracking.

Yes, on the cheaper plans. As of 20 August 2026 it charges 3% on the free plan and 1.5% on Standard, and those commissions come on top of what Stripe or PayPal already charge you; they don't replace them.

From the Expert plan, at €29 a month, it drops to 0%.

That means the plan that looks cheapest stops being so as soon as you start taking payments: a studio taking €2,000 a month on the free plan pays €60 in commission, more than the whole Expert plan.

You have to do the maths with your takings in front of you, not the fee.

With Aforo the commission is 0% on all three plans, with no tiers or exceptions, so the fee you see is the fee you pay, whether you take a thousand or ten thousand.

Yes, with two caps worth looking at together. As of 20 August 2026 its Getting Started plan costs nothing, allows up to 30 orders a month and keeps 3% of every online payment.

That percentage comes on top of what Stripe or PayPal already charge.

If you take payment in person today, that plan will do to get started, and we say so even though it doesn't suit us.

What tells you when to leave it is your takings: beyond about €970 a month in online payments, that 3% already costs more than a flat fee with no commission.

You may hit the second cap, the 30 orders, first, depending on what your class costs.

From there Zenamu's ladder continues at €15, €29 and €66 a month, and the commission doesn't drop to zero until the €29 plan.

Aforo starts at €29 a month, with no free plan, and charges no commission on any of its three plans.

You export your data from your current account and we import your catalogue of classes and courses, and your customers with their contact details.

We also bring over any active class passes with their remaining sessions, and your booking history. That way you don't lose track of who has come to what.

Then we check the result with you before the switchover, which happens on the day you say.

If something in your account can't be exported cleanly, we tell you before you sign up, not when there's no going back.

We don't leave you with a file and a manual to sort it out yourself.

We do the migration and all you do is check that everything is where it should be.

The four features that only exist if the program was born inside a pottery studio, which is what happened with Aforo.

The first is piece tracking: each piece carries its status (drying, bisque, glaze), its photo, its shelf and its automatic pick-up message, so you stop having a shelf full of bowls nobody claims.

The second is priority enrolment by seniority when a course opens, which avoids a first-come, first-served race.

The third is monthly memberships with arrears in plain sight and a pro-rated first month.

And the fourth is payments through Redsys as well as Stripe, which matters in Spain because many studios take payments through their own bank.

They don't want to change banks just to use a new program, least of all halfway through a course.
